Huyett offers a generous benefits package called “Huyett+Care.” The program is managed by a full time Company Benefits Manager, who is advised by an Employee Benefits Advisory Board. Together the Board and Manager consult with executive management on plans to improve the value of Huyett+Care to employees and their families.
In August of each year, a Company Benefits Fair is held in which employees and their families are provided an opportunity to meet with benefits providers to ensure that they make the best decisions for their Huyett+Care. They also receive a booklet that explains the following benefits:

Health Insurance

Huyett offers multiple health care options through a self-managed plan administered by a third-party partner. The plans provide an array of options, from low (or no) payroll cost and higher out-of-pocket expenses to a program where there is a higher bi-weekly payroll deduction in exchange for lower out-of-pocket costs. Our partner works with us to find affordable options for procedures and medical care without the restrictions of networks.

Eye Care

Eye care is included with all plans and is provided at no additional cost to employees. The plan provides coverage for prescription eyeglass frames, lenses, and contacts.

Dental Insurance

A dental insurance plan is available offering coverage for primary and major dental services as well as complete coverage for preventative services. 

ModRN Health

ModRN Health is your first point of contact for you and your family's healthcare needs. They provide 24/7 direct access to a dedicated nurse and doctor team that know you personally and urgent and day to day care at no cost to you. ModRN Health also helps members consolidate medical records, navigate the complex health system, collaborate on an individualized care plan, and understand their benefits and other resources available to them to help them be informed consumers of healthcare.

trueRx

trueRx provides members with a wide selection of prescription benefits programs that focus on quality and cost-effective healthcare solutions driven to improve you and your family's overall health. The pharmacists and strategists at TrueRx champion health, integrity, and innovation nationwide by providing affordable pharmacy benefit solutions to employers by tailoring their benefit solutions to each respective client.

SHARx

Paired with trueRX, SHARx evaluates any medication over the cost of $350.00 including high-cost maintenance, specialty meds, and infusion therapies to find alternative sources that make it possible to buy them at lower wholesale costs, with options to mail them directly to the employee.

Spouse Benefits

The Company has a program that enables spouses to qualify for health insurance and benefits.

Dependent Benefits

Huyett’s Dependent Benefits program includes non-traditional parents (for example, a grandparent raising a grandchild) as eligible beneficiaries. 

Non-Tobacco Initiative

There is a generous incentive to cease tobacco use as a means to promote healthier living and reduced health care expenses.

Life Insurance

The Company provides a free $50,000 term life insurance policy for all employees at no cost. Larger plans are available.

Supplemental Insurance

The Company offers an array of spouse and dependent term life plans, or critical care insurance plans at discounted group rates that can be paid for with payroll deductions.

Long Term Disability Insurance

The Company provides this benefit at no cost to employees.

Short Term Disability Insurance

Employees may purchase short-term disability insurance at group-discounted rates using a payroll deduction.

401K

Huyett offers a generous 401K plan with a 50% match to your contribution up to 6%. You are eligible on day one of full-time employment and 100% vested at one year. Both conventional 401(k) and Roth IRA plans are available.

Debit+Care

Some programs provide a Company-paid debit card for a set quantity of out-of-pocket expenses.

Accident Advantage

This plan provides cash payouts to offset deductible and out-of-pocket insurance costs or loss of income after unexpected injuries and accidents.

Cancer Protection Assurance

This policy pays a cash benefit upon initial diagnosis of cancer, as well as a variety of other cash benefits payable throughout cancer treatment to provide employees peace of mind.

Critical Care Protection

Get coverage for the extra costs associated with critical illnesses. This plan provides a lump sum benefit payment following a covered critical illness.

Reduced Eligibility Wait Times

Full-time employees are now eligible for Huyett+Care after 60 days of employment (30 days sooner than in previous years).

Health+Center

Employees asked – leadership listened. Available to employees and their guests is exclusive access to the Health+Center, a best-in-class fitness facility for Huyett employees.
